McHoul's 23 - J&N 16

With outstanding defensive plays and the ability to put several hits together, McHoul's defeated J&N by a score of 23-16. Mike Healy and Dave Lowitz went 4 for 5 with Mike hitting 2 home runs. Additionally, Jim Kirzoncic, Peter Longobardi, Paulie Lastowski and Gary DiMaggio chipped in for three hits each and Lou Rosenberg pounded in 3 RBI's for the win.

In this week’s installment of “We would have won if only…” J&N let a close game get away from them in the 8th inning. It was 14-12 after 7 innings and George Hammer was pitching yet another a gutsy, gritty game but then J&N’s defense fell apart, and it allowed 9 runs in the top of the eighth and was only able to strike back with 4. Mountain View Ranch 18 - A&R 7

Carl Parris led the way for Mountain View Ranch with 4 hits. Lou Rossi, John Ostuni, Bill Hanchett and Scott Babrowsky had 3 hits each.

Doyle's 26 - Michael's 12

Behind excellent pitching by Tom Giordano and Joe Prisco and strong infielding by Irish Doug McCracken, Al Hicks and Joe Kupiec, Doyle's beat  Michael's 26 to 9. Dan Doyle   5-5  with 2 doubles, Dan Diesing 4-5 with 2 doubles, John Latino 4-5 with 2 doubles, Pete Schwarze 4-4 with 3 doubles, Tom Derito 4-4, Al Hicks, Doug McCracken, Tom Giordano and Steve Schmid all had 3 hits each for Doyle's .

Today at Sports Park Jr., Doyle's beat Michael's 26 to 12. Stats for Michael's:  Jack Baxter 3-4 (2rs2rbi), Eddie Smilkstein 3-4 (3rs3rbi), Dan Sopchak 3-4 (2rbi), Joe Barbarito 3-4, Joe DeMaria 3-3 (2rbi), John Warman 2-4(2rs), Angelo DeGregorio 2-3, Stan Smilkstein 2-4 (2rs).

Arlington Grill 21 - Pizza Time 17

Arlington Bar and Grill defeats Pizza Time 21-17. Great Victory! Chris Thomas and Mark Joao (3 HR and a 2B) had 4 hits each. George Norris, Pat Towne and Tom Milholm all had 3 hits. Angelo Sblendorio pitched a complete game victory.

Tough see-saw battle that saw AG score 2 in the top of the first, Pizza Time came back with a 5 spot in the bottom half of the 1st inning, then 8 lead changes from the 1st to the 8th. AG scored 4 in the top of the 8th after two outs. Pizza Time couldn't push a run across the board in the bottom of the 8th, 21-17 Pizza Time loss. It was an 8 round boxing match that at any time either team could have scored more runs if not for great defensive plays keeping the game close. PIZZA TIME STATS. In the game a play in question was, is there a commit line on Wednesday?  On paper Pizza Time looked outmatched by the powerful line up of AG, but Pizza Time didn't give up...Not all battles are won on the battlefield.

Doyle's 16 - Pizza Time 15

Doyle's was led by the pitching combination of Tom Giordano and Joe "Flash" Prisco and great defensive plays by "leaping" Rodney DeLoatch. In a close well-played game, Doyle's held Pizza Time to no hits in the last 2 innings to secure the victory. 

Brian Linn, Dan Diesing, Rodney DeLoatch, and Al Hicks all had 3 hits to lead Doyle's. 

In a game that saw the lead go back and forth, Doyle's beat Pizza Time 16-15. Pizza Time was playing without their speedy outfielders and a Great hitters, Joe "Brett Gardner" Wassweiler and Reggie "Roberto Clemente" Dolson. Pizza Time had to pick up a player, Pete "Pete Rose" Longobardi who played a great outfield.  PT came out of the gate and shut out the powerful hitting Doyle's team. Then in the bottom of the first PT put up a 3 spot started by a Greg "Lou Piniella" Miller single , followed by a Charlie "Robinson Cano" Melia single. Big single by Tom "Graig Nettles" Hotaling RBI single, then two more hits bringing in the other 2 runs, Doyle's scored once in the top of the 2nd, PT3-D1. Then Doyle's would score 5 in the top of the 3rd inning to take a 6-3 lead. But Pizza Time came right back and scored 4 in the bottom half to take the lead back 7-6, Doyle's scored 3 in the top of the 4th to take a 9-7 lead. PT couldn't score in the bottom half because of great defensive plays by Rodney Deloatch. In the top of the 5th, still holding on to the 2 run lead, Doyle's offense came to life and scored 5 to add on to their lead 14-7. Bottom half of the 5th saw Pizza Time score 3 runs due to Tom Hotaling's hot hitting, then Pete Longobardi's single. Chris "Billy Martin" Edwards would line a single scoring Tom, followed by Ray "Ted Williams" Smith's single pushing the other 2 runs over the line, cutting Doyle's lead to 14-10. The top of the 6th saw Pizza Time shut down the powerful hitting team. The Bottom of the 6th inning saw PT open up its offense, scoring 5 runs to take a 15-14 lead over Doyle's. It all started with Bert "Cy Young" Keating's hard line drive to left; then Tony "Chuck Knoblauch" Janicik gets robbed by a great play; then Frank "Mike Piazza" Navarra's line single, followed by 4 straight hits with Roger "Derek Jeter" Merritt's hit and Da' Coach's hit giving Pizza Time a 15-14 come back lead. Doyle's would score one in the top of the 7th to tie the game at 15., PT couldn't push a run across the line for the final two innings. Doyle's would score a run in the top of the 8th to seal a 16-15 win. Great Defense kept Pizza Time in the game, great plays by Donnie "Roy White" Black, and Joe "Micky Mantle" Karam. That's what it's all about!

Arlington Grill 10 - Mountain View Ranch 9

In a very exciting game, Arlington Grill defeats Mountain View Ranch 10-9 with a walk-off. Down 2 runs, John Pucylowski led off the bottom of the 8th with a single and Chris Thomas then laced a triple to cut the margin to 1. Mountain View Ranch intentionally walked the next 2 batters, loading the bases. Angelo Sblendorio then launched a towering fly ball that beat the outfield and knocked in the tying and winning runs. Angelo had 3 hits and was the winning pitcher. Chris Thomas had 4 hits, and Mark Joao had 3 hits.

J&N 18 - Michael's 16

We woke up this morning 0-7 in the first half and desperately needing to shake things up. Jaime happened to see a very small ad in Rolling Stone Magazine about a man who could find anyone. Dead or alive. So, we hired Paul Morales to go to the mouth of the Amazon to find Jeff Noe, who we haven’t heard from in months. Not only did Paul find Jeff, bring him back alive, but he also stayed and so the both of them joined in and helped us beat Michael’s in extra innings 18-16. It was a great team effort. J&N was losing 10-2 after 5, 12-7 after 6 and 15-10 after 7. We scored 5 runs in the 8th to push the game into extra innings, where we scored 3 runs to their 1 in the 9th to earn the victory.  We now stand undefeated at 1-0 in the second half of the season. In today's Game J&N beat Michael's 18-16 in 9 innings. Miller's 18 - A&R 13

On a hot summer morning, Miller's, who played A&R just a couple of days ago came back to split the series 18-13. Miller's who kicked 4 field goals in the game scoring three runs out of the four innings with Lou Post going 4/4 and two doubles, Dan Sopchack going 4/4  and double, Dave (Costa Rica) Napolillo going 4/4 with a double and a triple and Tom Borell going 2/4 with a homer and double, and Carlos (Cyclone) Vazquez going 3/4 with a homer, triple and a double and throwing an A&R runner out at home plate. Mike Capra pitched another great game was the winning pitcher. Miller's is dedicating the season to Bob Crabtree.

July and August Game Time Change

From July 1 through August 31, 2025, games will begin at 9:00 am.

Batting practice will begin at 8:30 or earlier and should be limited to 3 swings per player.

This change is being made for the health and safety of our players.
