After a meeting between commissioner Rick Wetzel and league managers, it was decided to conclude the regular season on Oct 7 with a double header. The extra game would allow for a 14 game regular season and ensure that each team plays every other team in the league twice. The games will be 7 innings and teams will not have to drive to a different park to face their 2nd game opponents. Spratt park teams will stay at Spratt park and Sports park teams will stay at Sports park.

Extra innings will now begin with a runner on second base. The runner will be the last batter from the previous inning. If the batter had a pinch runner than that player starts on second. If a pinch runner was not used in the previous at bat and the manager decides to use a pinch runner, he cannot be utilized unil the runner gets to third base. The game will continue until there is a winner. This rule only applies to regular season games, not playoffs.
