Scott Babrowski 3 hits including a single double and triple.
J&N highlights (aka Stan Silverman's personal blog): Did you ever have a day that by 9:30 am, you’ve realized that you never should have gotten out of bed? Well, MVR was leading J&N by 6 runs after 2 innings, and it only got worse after that. Stan Silverman had 3 hits. Paul Morales (an RBI), Tony Scaduto, Steve Savod and Jeff Noe (2 RBI’s) had 2 hits. Joe DiChiara, Rick Brettholtz (2), Mike Spinelli (2), and Bill Volpe (1) had RBI’s.

Doyle's 18 - Miller's 15
Missing 3 major players, Doyle's scored 10 runs in the last 2 innings to win 18 -15.
Winning pitcher was Joe Prisco. Dan Diesing 4-4 with 2 doubles, Peter Schwarze was 3-4 with a home run, Dave Andruze was 3-4 and 2 doubles, Rodney DeLoatch was 3-4, Mo Ragusa was 3-4, Steve Lynch was 3-4, Joe Kupiec, Steve Schmid & Tom Giordano had 2 hits each for the winners. Game ball went to Peter Schwarze going 3-4 with a home run and a diving catch in left field. Manager Vic Feit said after the game "We looked rag tag as a team, but we played with a lot of heart."
The fight for the Casket Bowl. Doyle's defeated Miller's 18-15. Miller's opened up the 1st inning with a 5 spot and Doyle's came back with a run. This game had 2 different games as Miller's took a lead in the first 4 inning 8-3 but it was Doyle's who scored 5 runs In The last 3 innings that put Miller's in an early grave. This game came down to inches as Tom Borell hit a ball down the line that was foul by an inch, which would have been a 3 run homer. Miller's would have taken the lead. Instead of 5 run inning, it was a 1 run inning. Doyle's outfield came up with great catches in all 4 spots in the outfield which Millers couldn’t come back with. Miller's had many guys with 2 or more hits. Lou Post, John Warman, Tom Borell, Doc Willoughby, Dave (Costa Rica) Napolillo with a triple, Rich Hill and Carlos Cyclone Vasquez.
McHoul's 22 - Pizza Time 11
McHoul's jumped to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated Pizza Time by a score of 22-11. Every McHoul's player scored at least one run with Mike Healy leading the attack going 5 for 5 (3 RBI's), followed by Tony Dalia 4 for 4 (5 RBI's) and Winning Pitcher, Phil Chontos 4 for 5, putting on a defensive display on the mound. Contributing 4 hits was Frank Goberish and Gary DiMaggio, with Russ Gilmore, Dave Lowitz, Jim Kirzoncic chipping in 3 hits each. Additionally, Paulie Lastowski, Carey Wasserman, Louie Rosenberg and Joe Hatch put up 2 RBI's each for the win.
A&R 15 - Arlington Grill 13
Arlington Grill loses to A&R 15-13. For the Grill, Ralph Bondi, Jack Baxter, Pat Towne, Jim D'Aleo and Tom Milholm had 3 hits in the loss.
