Arlington Grill 15 - McHoul's 5

Arlington Bar and Grill defeats McHoul's 15 to 5. A complete team effort. Mike Vuozzo, Mark Joao, George Norris and Angelo Sblendorio all had 3 hits. Angelo pitched a complete game for the victory.

For McHoul's, the team performed as follows: Jim Kirzoncic went 3 for 3. Frank Goberish, Russ Gilmore, Dave Lowitz, Carey Wasserberg and Joe Hatch all contributed two hits apiece.


Michael's 17 - A&R 14

Today at Sheafe Road, Michael's beat A&R by the score of 17-14. Stats for Michael's : Ben Anker 3-4 (5rbi), Jack Baxter 3-3 (3rs,3rbi), Mike Lynch 3-3 (2rbi), Eddie Smilkstein 2-2 (4rbi), Joe Barbarito 2-3, Stan Smilkstein 2-3, Bobby Joy 2-2 (Winning Pitcher).


Doyle's 13 - J&N 6

Excellent defense led by Mo Rugosa, Dan Doyle, Al Hicks and Dan Diesing helped Doyle's to victory. Bill Schwarze 3-4 with a triple, Dan Diesing 3-4 with a triple led Doyle's. Dan Doyle, John Latino, Rod Deloatch, Tom Giordano, Mo Ragusa, Doug McCracken and Steve Schmidt had 2 hits each.

It was a cloudy, rainy morning at Digilio when Doyle’s beat J&N by the score of 13-6. J&N took the lead 5-3, with a 5 run 4th inning, but Doyle’s came back with 5 spots of their own in both the 6th and 7th innings. Hitting stars for J&N were Jaime Pagan with 3/3 and 1 rbi, Dick Michel going 2/3 and 2 RBI’s, Joe DiChiara went 2/3, as did former URI Ram, Stan Silverman, who also went 2/3 with a home run and an rbi. Von Ahouse collected an RBI, as did Mike Spinelli 2.


Miller's 10 - Pizza Time 8

Miller's added a big win over Pizza Time 10-8. Miller's are dedicating their season to long time Miller's Manager Bob Crabtree, as he is fighting his battle with Cancer. Miller's made 2 big plays on defense as a wild throw went to the side but Joe (Pug) Pennachio backed up the play and Mike Capra covered home to nail the runner at the plate. Carlos (Cyclone) Vasquez played a great right field. With men on base, Lou Post made a spectacular Derek Jeter like foul ball catch to kill a Pizza Time rally. In the 1st inning, Tom Borell hit a 3 run homer to open the scoring. Tom ended the game 2/3 with a homer, double and walk and had 4 RBI's. Doc Willoughby had 3 hits and John Warman had 3 hits including a double. Mike Capra (winning pitcher) had a hit and walked twice. And Royal (Dewey) Bogardus kept his hot bat, going 3/3. This was a great team effort as everyone contributed in different ways. Get well soon, Bob!
